The Valley to the Alley – all the elements that make Currumbin special: landscape, animals, ANZAC celebration.

Lee was the second-place winner in the international Resene Mural Masterpieces Competition 2018 for this piece. This 5x13m mural looking down on Station Street in Currumbin was commissioned by the Currumbin RSL Club. Entries were judged on a range of factors including creativity, composition, team involvement (where appropriate), fit with the location and uniqueness.

Special mention to Mike Ambrose who designed the ‘Currumbin’ letters across the mural.

The Currumbin RSL owns this 100-year-old building. It was in need of freshening up and they wanted a mural that would be bright, and happy and had all the landmarks and magic of Currumbin Valley and the beach.
