Inspired by and honouring Gold Coast’s struggling art industry that has experienced setback over the last two years. As the Elvis movie faced these same industry struggles this mural is dedicated to this film, and a thank you to Baz Luhrmann for bringing the production and premiere here – creating 900 jobs for locals and putting the Gold Coast back on the map.

Matty Tepaea
Matty is a world-renowned street artist, highly accomplished and experienced, with his passion for creating art beginning when he was only a child.
Throughout the years he has experimented and honed his artistic talent to create a unique style of merging both airbrush and aerosol methods to form his signature pieces that we see today.
