Elanora Water Pump

In 2016, the City’s Water and Waste directorate established the urban art project Water Walls. The aim was to improve the appeal of key assets, reduce vandalism caused by graffiti and showcase local art.

Over the years, urban artists have transformed utilitarian infrastructure into original art pieces. Their designs reflect the unique character of the Gold Coast and its people. Using a range of mediums the art reflects the area around it, each telling a different story.
